Feel at home truly with our fourth instalment of #RPchairs. In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, Raffles Place Alliance has rolled out 60 brand new #RPchairs in Raffles Place Park!

Whether a first-time visitor to the Central Buzz District or a resident explorer, Raffles Place offers an eclectic mix of things to see, taste and experience, all just a hop, skip and a jump from Raffles Place MRT station. Many historical landmarks can be discovered and remembered around the vicinity, including Singapore’s oldest banks, department stores, bridges and temples, so let’s rewind the clock as we take a step back in time. 

From 29 May to 21 June 2025, a stunning inflatable garden puts down roots in Raffles Place to illuminate the precinct as part of i Light Singapore 2025. This is the first time Raffles Place is participating in i Light Singapore as a satellite location.

Over the past century, Raffles Place has seen several waves of transformation, reflecting our island’s own journey of growth and renewal. From the first commercial hub, Commercial Square, where international traders used to gather, our precinct has turned into a vibrant bustling community within Singapore’s Central Buzz District.
