Raffles Place Alliance lights up Raffles Place in festive colours to celebrate the year-end and bring an air of magic and merriment to the precinct.
Interactive festive installations will be placed around Raffles Place Park until 31 December 2023 for visitors to enjoy and interact with. In the evenings, the festive elements will be lit from 7pm – 12 midnight daily. For the first time, Raffles Place Alliance will also place festive fairy lights in the park on the lampposts to bring more joy and light to the community.
There are four festive installations in Raffles Place Park: a larger than life interactive Christmas tree; Walk with the seasons – a motion-sensor light display; colourful arches that light up when activated. Lastly, try out a fun installation which lights up when you cycle on one of three stationary bicycles parked at the decor. Cycle and wish visitors to Raffles Place a Merry Christmas!
At various locations in the precinct, visitors can find interactive décor in the shape of Christmas stockings, baubles, stars and gift boxes. At six locations around the precinct, use your mobile phone to enjoy two minutes of a light-up show that you can create!
To use the interactive features of the festive décor, begin by scanning the QR code.
First, select the colours of the lights you want to see on the décor. Next, choose one of four Christmas tunes to play and the lights on the décor will dance to the song you have chosen.
Finally, dim and change the colours of the lights on the décor via your mobile phone by placing your finger over the image.
You can find these interactive features at the décor located at Bank of China Building, CapitaGreen, Collyer Quay Centre, Ocean Financial Centre, One Raffles Place and Republic Plaza. These will be available for play and lit up from 7pm – 12am daily.
